Hi Anderso,
The error is what it is. You do not have sufficent permissions to join the machine to the domain. If you have not seen this with other machines, it could be that a computer account for this machine already exists, perhaps in a container where you do not have the necessary access. A first step would be to delete any existing computer account in Active Directory. |

Hi.
I'm having som difficulties migrating to a new domain from a client. Other clients in the same network had no problems doing this. Here is the log: Finding Domain Controller for domain domain.local... Done. Using Domain Controller: \\server.domain.local. Binding to Active Directory... Done. Getting FQDN for user "username"... Done. Getting Domain SID... Done. SID is S-1-5-21-1781177867-129107983-2875760667-2626 Checking for roaming profile...Done. No roaming profile path set. Setting Registry ACLs... Done. Set Registry ACLs in 4.142 seconds. Setting Profile ACL... Done. Set Profile ACL in 5.937 seconds. Creating Profile registry keys... Done. Joining to domain "domain.local" ... Fails. Error 5. No Access. Migration Fails. Can anyone help me out here? Anderso |
