I've spent hours trying to solve this issue. After converting my profile from a Domain account to a local account my OneDrive is not syncing with my Microsoft account. Everything else is operational on the system.
The core of the issue appears to be related to a DCOM component not registering. I have tried everything under the sun to make this work. I'm hoping someone has seen this issue. So far the only fix appears to be create a new profile. The error message is below. The GUID points to a DCOM config called SyncEngineCOMServer. Log Name: System Source: Microsoft-Windows-DistributedCOM Date: 2014-10-05 1:59:38 PM Event ID: 10010 Task Category: None Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: PDSURFACEPRO\Paul Computer: PDSurfacePro Description: The server {1B1F472E-3221-4826-97DB-2C2324D389AE} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.
