Hello-
I used Profile Wizard to share a profile.  Now the user is no longer needed.  Since it is a shared profile, if I delete the user profile will it alo delete the shared profile.
Thank you.

Hi,

Yes it will! The safe way to manage profiles is to use User Profile Manager, of course Smile However, if you want to remove the entry for the user from the profile list you can do it manually by removing the user SID registry key under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList.

Thank you, that worked.

Kind of tricky figuring out what SID to remove.

Definately will use the Profile Manager next time.

It can be tricky identifying the SID. You can use PsGetSid to get a SID from a user name.
