User can't login after failed migration |

Hi I recently tried the software out to move a few users in a small office onto a domain. Everything worked perfect bar for one user. There was an error, the migration failed and I was getting permission errors when trying to access c:\users\(username)\desktop, etc.
I restarted the PC and now when the user gets to the login screen and enters the password, the pc sits saying welcome for about 5 seconds and then jumps right back to the enter password login screen. There is no option to switch user, login locally, etc. and I'm not sure what to do to get this user back into their computer. Has anyone seen this before? |

Hi, I have the same issue today. I am afraid I have no other local accounts, pretty sure I will need to restore or format the computer. Just leaving a message to get news from this thread. If I find anything, I will post it here.

Can you not enable the local Administrator account in Safe Mode? See How to access the computer after you disable the administrator account

I got this same problem on a users computer. Problem is they are remote and I am connecting via gotoassist, and without being able to sign in as the user it won't let me reboot into safe mode to enable the admin account.
This application is a great help, but can be a real PITA when it fails. |
