I've just started testing your software for a migration I need to perform on 10 workstations moving from a WORKGROUP to a Domain. I have one concern though.
If I migrate a local account with Administrator status to a domain user account the new domain account has administrator privileges. Is this how the software is intended to work? I only want my users setup as Domain Users with no admin privileges. I expected the software to migrate the user profile settings only and apply whatever group memberships I have applied in Active Directory. Thanks, Caden |

Hi Caden,
You need to set the <RemoveAdmins> value to True in your Profwiz.config file: <RemoveAdmins>True</RemoveAdmins> |

Thanks for the quick reply.
Is the config file only available on the corporate version? I downloaded the personal edition for testing. When I run the application the steps don't look anything like what is shown in the guide. Is the deployment kit only available in the corporate version? Thanks, Caden |

Yes. Only the Corporate and Professional Editions come with the Deployment Kit and Profwiz.config file.
