When leaving a domain and joining a workgroup it is not clear when I should run the migration wizard (before or after I leave the domain) It's such a simple thing but it is not apparent. Thanks in advance!

You should always run User Profile Wizard before leaving the domain.
User Profile Wizard will join the machine tom the workgroup for you. (See Migrating from domain to local accounts in the User Guide.) |
