I've setup a Windows Storage Server 2012 R2 NAS at home. (Thecus w5810)
The setup of this system runs me through a wizard to setup a Domain. In order to 'tie' a PC or laptop into the Windows Server Essentials on this Domain, I am required to browse to: http://Server/Connect The wizard complains that I am already joined to a domain, and directs me to drop out of the old domain that the PC was originally using, log on as a local admin, then browse to: http://Server/Connect to join this new domain. Current profile that I want to migrate to the new domain is: Domain1\SJ New profile will be Domain2\SJ With me having to join the domain in this fashion, which by the wizard that runs and creates the profile and joins the domain, will I be able to use User Profile Wizard to migrate my existing domain profile to the new domain? And if so, what are the proper steps to do it correctly? thanks, SJ |

We recommend that you join the machine to the domain using the "Connect" utility, then use User Profile Wizard to migrate the profile.
