We did a combination machine-join-domain and user migration. (We ignorantly checked the Copy box in the process). The end result was that the new domain user would log on OK but we ended up with a message:
"We can't sign in to your account windows 10 domain profile". Rebooting from this didn't help as it was suggested may work. By judicious registry editing at: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList of S-1-5-21 items, we were able to bring it back. But this is scary when profiles get messed up this way. Any suggestions would be appreciated! |
