Hello Everyone,

We are currently using ProfWiz to migrate WinXP workstations from 'workgroup' mode (we have traditionally used Novell Netware servers) into a new Active Directory system.

We are hoping someone may be able to offer some advice on what would cause the following error in ProfWiz log ?.

Creating migration service... Done.
Starting migration service... Done.
Finding Domain Controller for domain staff.ad.x.edu.au... Done.
Using Domain Controller: \\gcsfdc02.staff.ad.x.edu.au.
Binding to Active Directory...Fails.
Error 14.

All our workstations are using the same ProfWiz configuration and most have been working fine... so we are not sure where to go from here.

I have looked through the ProfWiz manual & Forums and can't seem to find any information about error code 14....

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

User Profile Wizard only ever returns standard Windows system error codes. For reference, there is a list available from Microsoft here.

Error 14 is "Not enough storage is available to complete this operation." I don't think we've ever seen this one before. The first thing to check is probably the status of the DC.
