ForensiT announces the release of Build 1107 of the Corporate Edition of User Profile Wizard 2.5.
Update Information
Build 1107 is an update of the Corporate Edition of User Profile Wizard only. The Personal Edition of User Profile Wizard has not changed.
Build 1107 fixes a bug that may occur when you use the /RENAME switch on the command line or in script with earlier versions of User Profile Wizard. In these circumstances, it is possible for the Windows Time service (W32Time) not to be correctly updated to use domain based time synchonization.
Build 1107 also fixes a problem when using the /RENAME switch on Windows Vista which results in the machine failing to join the domain with "A local error has occurred" error.
The new build 1107 installation file also includes an update to the "Deployment Kit" to ensure deployment scripts run on Vista without modification.
Getting the Update
If you are a Corporate Edition customer with support, you  can always download the latest version of User Profile Wizard using the link that was emailed to you when you purchased your software. Please note that you will need to download a new copy of your license file to run build 1107. You will also need to to re-encrypt any encrypted passwords you are using.
Build Numbers
ForensiT, in common with other software vendors, releases major updates to its software as point releases; for example, User Profile Wizard 2.5. However, from time to time we will also release updated builds of our software to fix specific bugs, or to add new features. You can think of build releases as "hot fixes."  Most often these fixes only affect a small number of users. Build updates are generally available to Corporate Edition customers with maintenance and support first.
Thank you for your support!
