I have been using this wizard for ages with great success but now, I am having the following problem.
Taking windows XP profiles, moving them to Windows 7 64 machines, then running the wizard, works as normal. However, when the user logs in they are unable to run EXPLORER.EXE
This happens when they try to run it from the Start menu, or just when they try to open Documents, or Computer, and so forth.
Everything else works fine ... and this problem is not seen by users who have not had their profiles migrated using this wizard.
Any suggestions?

Hi,
How are you moving the profiles from XP to Windows 7?

I am copying over the c:\documents and settings\username from the old machine to c:\users\username on the new machine.

We would not recommend that you just copy the files. There are major differences in the profile file structure between XP and Windows 7. Try our Transwiz tool which copies profiles and automatically reconfigures XP profiles to Windows 7 profiles.
