We used the profile migration tool in a recent server migration. We went from server 2003 to server 2012 and the migration and everything seems to have gone fine. What we've had a couple users report issues with so far have been saved passwords in IE and Chrome. I found a thread from 2012 that mentioned the passwords within IE being encrypted to the registry and that wouldn't transfer over, so simply resaving them was the fix. However - it seems that even after saving them again, it still doesn't save them properly. We're in a mix of IE9 and IE10, all Windows 7 or 8 machines. Is a reset IE to factory defaults the best option at that point to clear out any "leftovers" that may be holding up the process?

As far as Chrome, it seems that it just stripped the logged in user info, since all of that data is stored in the cloud with Google.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks.
