I have a domain username profile folder named user.DOMAIN.NET

When I use transwiz it shortens the name to "user" and strips the .DOMAIN.NET from the folder name. The profile transfers correctly but A LOT of files and settings are looking for the old folder name in the path.

How can this be fixed or addresses?

The standard Windows profile folder naming convention is C:\Users\Username. Windows will only append the domain name to the profile folder if a profile with the username already exists.

Transwiz does scan the registry and update profile folder paths where it finds them. However, if you have applications writing hard-coded profile paths to data files, there is nothing that Transwiz can do.
