Since our company is about to start using document management system application, i need to change all the domain user accounts to match the e-mail accounts ex.: if the username for domain test.com is name.surname and mail is n.surname@test.com the domain username has to be n.surname too, so the document management system can work. My question is, is there a way using Forensit product to change domain username but access the old profile (the profiles are local)?

Hi,

Because Windows uses SIDs (Security Identifiers) internally, you can rename a domain user account in Active Directory without it causing any problems: you just need to tell the user their new username so they can logon. You don't need our product (or anyone else's.)
