We currently have on Office 365 tenant ( where all of our users accross 6 divisions have an account.  Each of our divisions has their own local domain (thisdomian.local, thatdomain.local, somedomain.local, etc) and none of the local domains have the user details filled in (address, phone, etc).
Also, way to many user accounts in the local domains don't follow a naming convention, but the Office 365 accounts do.  For example I have local domain account named Fred, Larry, Bob or Smith, Jones, etc.  I guess we never expected to hire another Fred. Tongue

We are going to perform a domain migration and I don't want to bring all this garbage in from the other domains in to a nice clean new domain, but would like to be able to suck in all the good data from Azure/Office 365 in for all my user accounts.

I see that ForensiT has Azure to local AD capabilities so the question is can I use ForensiT to first copy all the Azure/Office 365 user account details into my new local AD, then use the tool to do domain to domain computer migrations and direct the user profiles to the new user account?

If so do I need the Corporate per user tool, or can I purchase the Pro tool.

Thank you for your enquiry.

User Profile Wizard does not create or populate the new domain user objects, the new accounts must already exist in advance of the migration.

As you mention, you can however use User Profile Wizard to migrate the profile from the old AD account to the new AD account and join the computer to the new domain.

Many thanks,
