Can we move Computer and users object??

Hello Experts
We are moving from one domain to another domain, for moving the users and computer objects from one domain to another we are using different tools, can we do the same from the ForeinsIt tool,

Can we use ForeinsIt to move users and computer objects between domains, and can it also transfer user profiles along with the users?

Hi, 

User Profile Wizard is a workstation migration tool, it is not an Active Directory migration tool. It is designed to move workstations into a new domain and to configure the users’ profiles so that they work seamlessly with the users’ new domain accounts. To this end it can create new computer objects in the new domain, but it does not move user accounts, groups or other Active Directory objects like printers.

Hello
Thanks for the Response, there are a few queries more, 
1. when we are exploring the tool, we are getting options for user mapping. What are those used for?
2. we have enabled the zero-config options for the migration still the user's previous domain mailbox is not migrating for the newer domain mailbox, do we have to use any other tools to migrate mails??

Hi, 

A user lookup csv file is used to map the old user name to the new, you can use this if user names are changing during the migration. If you are migrating one account at a time using the GUI, you can manually specify the new account - you do not need to use a user lookup csv file. More information is available in the user guide.

The Wizard does not migrate email between email environments, it migrates profiles from one user account to another.

If you have a problem when using the software, please contact us at support with more information, including your migration log file, config file and any lookup files if you are having a problem with these.
