I am looking into this product and I have questions:

1.  when user A in Domain A and is moved to Domain B, whether user A is still be able to access his encrypted files or he has to decrypt the files before he is being moved to the Domain B.
2.  will migrating user profiles will take care of the encrypted files?
3. will the user SID in the Domain A be moved to Domain B?

thanks.

Hi,

Encrypted files need to be decrypted before the user is migrated to the new domain; the new domain user account will not have access to any files encrypted by the old domain account. Migrating the user profile will not take care of the encrypted files.

User Profile Wizard does not work by moving the SID. Instead it assigns the new domain SID to the existing user profile.
