We migrated approximately 45 Desktops to a new domain this past weekend. We were mostly succesful and this tool seemed to save tons of time.

However, I few users (4) seem to have lost their files from their desktops and My documents folders have disappeared. we were re-directing their documents folders before, but there is no sign of them anywhere on the server nor on the workstaiton.

Also, we were not redirecting their desktops, but many files are missing from there as well.

Any ideas or has anyone seen this?

User Profile Wizard does not move, copy or delete any data. Folder redirection settings are migrated unchanged. (Meaning the new user account may not have access to the redirected folder on the server.)

We are having the same issue. How do we restore the old profile and retrieve the documents? We tried restoring it from the Unassisgned Profiles, but the migration was a fail

Our experience has shown that if you do not sort out the folder redirection before using profwiz it can cause all sorts of problems for the users.
A rename at point of migration of the users folder is usually required and also clearing the client side cache before the user logs on with new account.  (Make sure you backup the client side cache before clearing to guarantee no data loss).
