I have used the Free Migration Profile Wizard app on a few computers in our head office where the Domain Controller sits and had no issues.
I am now at one of our remote sites that is connected onto the MPLS network via an ADSL line.

The Migration Wizard has been stuck on "Setting Profile ACL..." for about an hour now. Is this line related should I wait longer?
If I try close the programs, I get a message "A profile is currently being migrated"

Please advise.

I get this one some computers on a remote site and others work fine, so it is not really an DNS issue. What else can cause this to get stuck on "Setting Profile ACL..." even on computers with profiles that are not so big?

I have found this occurs on Windows 10 Anniversary edition.
Make sure you create a local administration account before migrating or its hard to get back into the machine.

I always create another local admin profile just in case :)
Seems to be working better now.

I find it helps to go into the profile folder of the user you want to migrate and give yourself access. Just open c:\users\profile then click continue to get the permissions applied.
