Hi,
This is not a problem we have
seen, or previously had reported to us. The first thing you should do is check that the default permissions on the C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming folder have not been altered; an Administrator account running from an elevated command prompt should have access to this folder. Mostly likely, however, is that there is some process running on the machine that is locking access to the folder. There are a few things you can do to mitigate against that: reboot the machine and run DefProf before signing in with the user account whose profile you are using to create the default profile; reboot the machine offline so that no updates can be taking place. You could also check that your anti-virus software is not blocking access to the folder, although I’m not aware of any that do. Support. |
