Hi,
Not sure if this is the correct location for questions like this. We are looking to use Profile Wizard to move from an On-Premises/Hybrid AD to a pure Azure AD only infrastructure. As Profile Wizard can migrate a computer from Domain Joined to Azure Joined without the need to contact the Domain Controller etc., am I right in thinking that Profile Wizard does not do anything with the Computer Object in AD. As part of our housekeeping we need to delete that Computer Object from the domain. I have noticed that AD Connect is syncing the computer to Azure AD, so I end up with 2 different computers of the same name in Azure AD One as a Hybrid Azure AD Joined machine and one as a Azure AD Joined. I expect that removing it in the On-Premises AD will clear the Hybrid Azure AD joined version Thanks In adviance. |

Hi,
You're correct, User Profile Wizard does not delete the computer object in the source domain, you will need to delete that yourself after the migration as part of the process, it may be possible for you to script it? Support. |
