Hello
I bought the pro yesterday. I tried to migrate a user from tenantA to TenantB, with tenant A formerly having the domain name tenant B has. The removed domain name now is an onmicrosoft.com, as in contosocom.onmicrosoft.com migrating to contoso.com. I did not create a deployment package. I used the UI interactively with a mapping file for the user's object ID. The experience seemed very intuitive and appeared to work. The log shows ForensiT User Profile Wizard 24.5 Licensed to redacted...(1 Seats) License No. 56CXXXX (redacted) Copyright (c) 2002-2023 ForensiT Software Ltd Target device: redacted OS build 10.0.19044.2846. Version 21H2. Azure Tenant: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Migrating user account "Jimxxxxxxxxxxxx" Migrating profile to Azure AD account. Processing UWP Apps... Done. Setting Registry ACLs... Done. Set Registry ACLs in 6.809 seconds. Closing Apps... Done. Setting Profile ACL... Done. Set Profile ACL in 144.418 seconds. Creating Profile registry keys... Done. Renaming Profile Folder... Done. Adding new account to local groups... Done. Setting Jimxxxxxxxxxxx as default logon... Done. Migration Complete! I ran this as a local admin. Again, seemed to work After restarting, "other user" appeared. It created a new user profile with none of the data I was expected. I am pretty sure I ran this once the computer had been added to the new tenant. I have about 12 more to do so I want to know what I am doing wrong. I read the docs but am missing something I think thx |

Hi,
I would check that the computer is joined to the new tenant, looking at the log, you haven't specified a Provisioning Package, so you will need to join the computer to Azure yourself. If you receive a new / blank profile when logging in, the profile hasn't been migrated to that account. If you have any problems, please email support with more information. Support
