[SOLVED] Hello,
I'm new on this forum, so I say Hello !; usually everything goes ok with profwiz. ![]() I am experiencing a weird behavior in Microsoft365 Word and Excel (there is no Sharepoint, just local Apps): I have profwized a Windows profile from an user to another user that keeps the PC. When the new user opens a XLSX or DOCX file, a temporary file is created by Office, example : ~$Filename.xlsx The problem is that in this temporary file, this is the name of the old user that is written, and so it appears on the others computers in a Windows' notification popup every time they try to open the document still opened for editing.. I tried to disconnect/reconnect Office, I also tried to repair Office (short and long), the problem is still there, the name of the old user is displayed. I hope I explained well. Is this a known issue?, do you have some idea to help?

Hi,
I think this can be updated in Office, or by editing the reg key. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity I hope this helps, Many thanks, Support.

Hello,
Thank you very much. The name was correct in the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity But I just had to look in the Microsoft Word options = File > Options, General, and there was the wrong name. I just changed with the right name, and it solved the "problem". Once you do it in Word, it automatically changes it in Excel, nothing else to do in Excel. Thank you a lot. SB.
