Trying to move computer and user profile from current domain to new domain. Processed failed in middle saying computer did not exist on new domain. But the user profile itself on the computer updated and was no longer tied to the current domain.
Computer still shows as being a part of the current domain. And due to the user profile update, a new profile had to be created under the current domain and all files from the updated profile copied back to the current domain profile. Not sure if the issue was due to the user account already present/existing on the new domain. Any thoughts on what went wrong and what to do? Thanks, Tony.....

It sounds like you are using User Profile Wizard?
The User account must already exist on the new domain prior to the migration. We would need to see your migration log file to be able to advise, please can you email support@forensit.com with the log file and more information and we will be happy to advise. |
