Hi,
Just wanting to double check, We have used Profwiz many times with huge success, but always for either all domain joined, or all standalone workstations. We have one coming up where some devices are domain joined, and some are not. If I configure to remove from domain, will it work on all? Or should I create two similar projects, one for domain and one for workgroup? Thanks! KH

Hi,
I assume you're using the Corporate Edition. Two different config's, one with the source domain specified as <OldDomain> in the config file (Step 6 of the Deployment Kit) and one with nothing specified as the <OldDomain> in the config file (Select that you are not migrating profiles from Domain accounts on Step 6 of the Deployment Kit). You will still need to specify the <OldDomain> even if you unjoin the computer from the domain first because the source profiles are still associated with Domain accounts, unjoining the computer from the domain doesn't change that. If you have any further questions, please email us at support@ Many thanks, Support. |
