Topic: Set As Default Profile ErrorPosted: 13 Apr 2010 at 8:58am |

Hello, on Windows 7 when I try to use option "Set As Default Profile" in "Copy To" section, I've got an error message: "The default profile could not be created". It seems that this option only work with english version of Win7. I tried french and dutch version and I always get this error message. Any solutions? Thanks, regards. Hi,
I’m sorry you have had a problem. We are aware that this is an issue on non-English language versions of Windows. We hope to address the problem in the next version of the software. However, our initial assessment is that any fix will not be simple, and at the moment we cannot promise a date when a new version will be available.

I've the same problem with Windows 7 in Japanese language.
Baut I could copy user Profile to "Default" profile folder. It's seem to me work well. Is this way have a any problem without using option "Set As Default Profile" ? |

Hi,
Bought the program yesterday.(user profile manager)
Windows Vista Business DUTCH version... so the program is of no use? Can't copy the default user...
The "copy to" button in Vista is not grayed. So I can copy a profile in Vista to default user.
But... the new logged on users cannot print, that seems the only problem... (Acces denied) With the same settings in XP, there are no problems... it all works fine....
I hoped Forensit User Profile Manager would help...
So I tryed something else.. I assigned a profile to the group everyone. Everyone gets the profile, but still printing dosn't work.
Can anyone help us...?? There are 50 people waiting for a solution... and I'm supposed to bring that solution...
Grtz,
Luc
