I have used this tool many times but today I came across an error 64 the specified network name is no longer available.  I am able to ping the AD and the machine is connected to the network.  Any ideas?

This is not an error that we've seen. There is a Microsoft Knowledgebase article that mentions the error here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/325487
