I'm running into an issue wherein after running the migration, one workstation isn't logging into the old profile, but rather creating a new profile for the log in.
I'm using the corporate edition to migrate between two domains in different forests. Workstations are remote still, so the work is being done over an L2TP VPN. Procedure is: - Log into the end user account - Connect to VPN - Confirm both domains are reachable - Sign out of Office (to prevent issues with Outlook post-migration) - Run migration from the user account, migrating just the one profile - Reboot - Login as local non-domain admin - Connect to VPN - Switch users (keeps the VPN connected while logging in as the next user) - Sign in as migrated user For this pilot group of 5 workstations, 4 worked fine with this process. Unfortunately, the 5th workstation logs in with a new profile after the process, creating username.NEWDOMAIN. I am able to rejoin the computer back to the original domain and log back in to the profile. Any ideas on what might be going wrong here?

We would need to see the log file for this particular migration and see some more information about the old user account, and new, to confirm there is no issue with mapping the two accounts. It seems like the old profile has been migrated, but not to the new user account, so when the new user logs on, as there is no profile, a new profile is created.
Would you be able to email the log and provide more details to support@forensit.com ? Support
