Hi!
I'm having issues TransWiz'ing profiles with Exchange accounts configured in Outlook (2007/2010/2013). When transferring from a Windows XP/Office 2007 box to a Windows 7/Office 2007 box I got an error message regarding the .ost file and Outlook wouldn't open. I then browsed to %localappdata%\Microsoft\Outlook and killed the .ost file, which enabled Outlook 2007 to open normally and rebuild the cache. When transferring from a Windows XP/Office 2007 box to a Windows 7/Office 2010 box I was able to launch Office 2010 successfully and it completed the cache file upgrade (very quickly!) and message items were visible and the folder structure was intact, however no new messages could be received. What made this even more bizarre was the fact that e-mails could be sent without issue! Did I miss some notes regarding TransWiz's handling of Exchange accounts? |

The .ost issue is quite common and occurs whenever the ost file becomes out of sync with the Exchange mailbox. (For example, if you access the mailbox from another machine.)
We are not aware of any problems with mail not being able to be recieved. |
