I am having profile issues Since migrating 3 computers onto a domain with user profile wizard 3.7
When you swipe finger on HP fingerprint reader (windows8) it creates a new local profile instead of logging into the domain. Logging into the domain is ok with a password. Even on one occasion I swiped the reader when already logged in and it immediately then created a new local profile to log in, these seem to be temporary profiles only. the computers are new HP envy laptops with simplepass fingerprint reader Thanks for any suggestions |

This is not a user profile issue. The fingerprint is still associated with the old local user account: when you swipe your finger, Windows logs on the old user account. You need to re-associate the fingerprint so that Windows knows it relates to the new user account.
