I'm curious as to what settings people are using to deploy the application through Intune. In a nutshell if you convert to .intunewin, most of the fields in Intune aren't applicable.

Hi,

Are there any particular settings when configuring your Intune procedure that you have a question about?

If you have a problem with this, please contact us at Support@forensit.com

Many thanks,

Curious if people have been able to fully test out the deployment through Intune in a fast and repeatable manner and how they were doing it.

Hi,

Install command - execute the Single Deployment File, there are no switches
Uninstall - nothing is installed on the computer you are migrating
Detection rules - you could check for the existance of the flagfile, which is written when the migration completes. If you are running under a RMM tool as SYSTEM, the file will be located at C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\ForensiTMigrated.

I hope this helps,

Support.

When deploying through Intune is it necessary to configure the tool to run as system? I read the documentation mentions doing that for using something like SCCM but does that include Intune? When deploying through Intune you're also presented with the option to install to System or User. My thought there would be User. Sorry I'm asking so many questions, just don't see a lot of Intune information.

Hi,

If you are running as SYSTEM, you should tick the 'Deploy using a Desktop management tool, like SCCM, or a Group Policy' box on Step 11 of the Deployment Kit. That will ensure the necessary changes are made to the configuration file so that the software will run under the SYSTEM context.

This is applicable however the software is being ran as SYSTEM, whether it's Intune as SYSTEM or SCCM, Group Policy or any RMM.

If you have any problems, please contact support with your config file and log file and details as to how you are running the software and we'll be happy to take a look.
