Hi
I'm looking to migrate about a dozen workstations over from an old server to a new server. The old server has group policies in place and were removed and forced to all the workstations. Not all were successful and those restrictions are still in place. For example some of the workstations will not allow Windows Update to be performed even though the Group Policy was updated. So my question is, when migrating from the old active directory domain to the new domain, will those policies be purged and removed, or will they remain? Essentially the goal and preference would be for the computer to migrate from the existing/old domain directly to the new domain all while not keeping any of those group policy settings restricting it from doing Windows updates. I'd like it to be default as Microsoft intended. Suggestions/Thoughts?
