I am receiving the following error when i try to transfer to the new pc.
"The file does not appear to be a valid profile transfer file." I have done the transfer twice and get the same error. the transfer creates 2 files. UserProfile.trans.zip and UserProfile.trans.z01 The files are exactly the same size on both attempts to move profile UserProfile.trans.zip is 1.378 Gig and the UserProfile.trans.z01 is 4.194 Gig There were no errors on the creation of the zips (or at least the program said it finished correctly) I am using transwiz pro I am copying from an XP machine to a Windows 7 machine. I need to move this users profile this morning. Please assist. |

Did you use the same version of Transwiz to create and attempt to restore the transfer file? Unfortunately, if the transfer archive has become corrupted there is nothing you can do. You will need to backup the XP machine again. |
