Hi Everyone, I have been looking a bit into this but cannot find anything specific to my issue, but essentially every time I attempt to run the ProfWiz tool, I am able to successfully move from domain A to domain B, however Teams will break every single time. I have attempted to log out of teams, make sure it's closed, etc. and do the same with other O365 apps, which fixes them, but Teams will start to refuse to launch entirely. It isn't like it is showing up for half a second and crashing, it will fully just refuse to launch. Uninstalling and reinstalling does not fix it. In fact, deleting the cache, anything around teams, etc. will not fix it, including credential manager. What ends up happening is that if you attempt to reinstall Teams, it will give an error message. My eventual fix was a strange one, but it works. The answer was to rename the Teams.exe from Teams.exe to Teams1.exe or something else, just something different from Teams.exe, this will then allow it to open and continue working as usual, however you will have to remain with a different named Teams.exe If anyone knows a way past this or something that I am missing to avoid this entirely, I will be forever grateful. I love the software, but it will become a big pain quickly if Teams just stops working (I don't know if an update will make a new Teams.exe and kill the app, but I hope not.) |
