Hi, hope somebody can help me fast. I actually need to move some Profiles from Domain Profile to local Profile on some Windows 10 Devices. Domain will be killed, PCs should join a Workgroup in future. 1. I select Domain Profile which i want to move 2. I select the local PC and enter the local username After this i get Error Message that the "Account does not exist" on this machine. The user Profile is available at the local Machine. So i do not understand why i get this Message. How i can troubleshoot this? Thx TSCR

You need to create the local user account. (Not the profile.) User Profile Wizard will not create the new user account for you.

Yes, that's enough. Reboot the machine and check your spelling. You need to use the "flat" NetBIOS Account name. Do you see the account if you use the PowerShell Get-LocalUser CmdLet?

Hi, i checked the spelling a lot of times. Also double checked with user in AD. With Get-LocalUser i see the User. could it be a problem that the user has the same name as the Domain? User is "praxis" Domain is also "praxis" I checked with a new test User in old AD. With this TestUser it was possible. Thx TSCR
