Subject: Logon issues after disconnecting domain

I have got a laptop which I have unchecked the domain I was previously connecting to as I did not need to connect to that network.

However I have been using the machine offline and have a load of data on the local drive. Having disconnected from the domain I am now unable to log onto the local machine.

Is there tool forensit have that can help me log back onto the machine?

No, sorry we don't.

If you cannot logon to the machine at all (with any account) you are in a bad place. There are some tools you can find on the internet that claim to reset local passwords offline (for example by booting from a linux boot disk.) You could just reinstall Windows over the top of the existing installation and make sure you choose to keep the existing data.
