I'm sure I'm not doing something
correctly with DefProf and the command arguments are few so it's hard to get it
wrong. Nonetheless my attempt failed.
Perhaps I have the concept wrong. I
am under the impression that DefProf will take a pre-existing profile and use
it to replace the Windows "DefaultAccount" such that when a new user
is setup (Local or Domain) it will adopt the settings of the
"DefaultAccount" which in essence would be the same as the original
pre-existing profile that was the template.
[Configuration]

)

another account. (Expected since there is no other active user acct)
)

)

)

) 12) Sign on “test1”.
a.
Get “Updating Apps” through to 100%
b.
Get the usual “Hi” message when the
new profile is forming.
3)
13) Test1 has ZERO personalization’s
from User1.
** Logging back into User1 I see
that while personalization’ s are intact, I had to reset my default apps.
[Questions]
1) 1) Any advice as to why the profile of
newly created accounts don’t inherit the user1 settings?
2)
2) Any idea why I had to reset default apps
in “User1”?
