The profile migrator works very well, however I've noticed that after I migrate a profile of a domain user to a workgroup, Vista backup will no longer work. It fails while trying to create a shadow copy with error code 0x80004005.

Can anyone help me get backups working again?

Hi,

We've only had one previous report of a problem with backup, and we have not been able to reproduce the problem ourselves.

We are pretty confident that the problem is not profile related. Window appears to cache the credentials to access the backup location at a system level, not at a user level, so there are no issues with decrypting passwords encrypted with pre-migration credentials. The problem appears to relate to accessing the backup location, not to data on the machine.
