Hi,
Have the migrations completed, but just taken time to do so? Carbon Black is a known cause of “setting profile ACL” hanging It could be that there is some corruption to
the files of the profile, so you could run chkdsk before trying again. Remember
that if the user has a large profile, and a slow machine, the migration process
can take a long time. Support.

Hello. I'm migrating computer local accounts to a domain with Profwiz and most are going fast, but I've seen a few hang up on the Set Profile ACL step. Usually that step takes around 2 minutes, but these have taken 20 minutes or more. Any ideas on what could cause that? Maybe there's some cleanup or other maintenance I could do on the account before running Profwiz? There's nothing I can tell that's broken in these accounts. They seem to be running just fine day-to-day before the conversion. It doesn't seem related to the amount of files in the local account because I've seen accounts with 50GB of stuff convert just fine. It's not a network issue. I'm controlling this remotely (using logmein) but copying the Profwiz program to that machine so it's running local. I have about 50 more computers to update, so if a dozen are going to be mysteriously slow then I'd love to get ahead of that problem. Thanks all
