I'm testing Transwiz for a domain to workgroup migration we're planning. It sounds like just the tool for the job.
Unfortunately, when I test it on my Windows 7 local user profile, it prompts me for the location of the ZIP file, asks for a password, goes away for a few seconds and then I get the error message: " ForensIT User Profile Transfer Wizard has stopped working.A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program." There is a single button to click labeled, "Close the program" Any suggestions? I really hope this is some sort of "dumb user error" as it sounds like Transwiz is perfect for the job at hand. Thanks, ...Jerry |

Hi Jerry, I'm sorry you have had a problem. It is very unusual for Transwiz to fail at this point. If you are able to retrieve the crash report please email it for support@ForensiT.com Many Thanks |

I am having the very same problem. The profile copy seems to take a very long time in "fast" mode. Then as the progress bar nears the end I get a window that says Transwiz has stopped working. After a few minutes I then get another window that says to close the program. I have no zip folders, jut one file that is 0kb

There may be a file corruption problem. Try running Chkdsk before doing the transfer.
