I built and installed a 2000 Server which will be the new Domain Controller. This has Active Directory working successfully. I know we can use ForensiT tool to move our current computers(all XP Pros) to the 2000 Server.
Which tool would I need to use ?
1) Transwiz.exe
or
2) Profwiz.exe
If anyone has moved a user profile from an NT based domain controller to a Windows 2000 AD Domain Controller, please share your experiences using ForensiT tool.
Thanks,
ek

You should use Profwiz.exe. Prowiz.exe (User Profile Wizard) configures a user's existing profile so that it can be used by their new domain account.
Tranwiz.exe (the User Profile Transfer Wizard) allow you to physically move a workstation profile to another machine.
